Reflecting on success

As we launch into a busy 2026 there’s plenty to reflect on in the year we leave behind, a year which saw us break new ground both domestically and internationally, strengthen our head-office team and stride ahead with product developments.

Last year we were proud to contribute to industry workshops and seminars initiated by the Racecourse Association, Horse Welfare Board and the Racing Foundation, attend international conferences such as the Australian Racecourse Managers Association event and deliver personalised one-to-one training to a number of new clients.

The appetite for data in international sport is almost insatiable and remarkably in 2025 we recorded almost three quarters of a million GoingStick readings downloaded and processed through the cloud-based TurfTrax Hub from 14 countries, together with climate data from Weather Stations on three continents.

The GoingStick makes a TV appearance on Betfred Derby Day at Epsom Downs (top) and debuts at Cherstertons Polo in the Park at the Hurlingham Club (bottom)

As the reputation of our products and services grows, so does interest from outside our well established thoroughbred and greyhound racing markets to create new sector partnerships within polo, eventing, football and the aviation industry to name a few.

Head of Racing Services, Michael Prosser delivers bespoke GoingStick training on-course (top) and one of two new WeatherTrax equipment installations at Meydan Racecourse, Dubai (bottom)

These achievements have only been possible with the enthusiastic support of our dedicated team at our Cambridgeshire base and our partners in the UAE and Australasia.

I wish them and all our valued clients a happy, healthy and prosperous year ahead.

Mike Maher, Managing Director
