Ryan Moore rode his second winner on the card at York when Fast Company slammed his rivals in the manner of a smart sort in the Tattersalls Millions Acomb Stakes.
Brian Meehan's juvenile was one of three defending an unbeaten record and came from last to first to win by an impressive three and a half lengths.
Sent off at 11-4, Moore booted Fast Company to the front inside the final two furlongs and the son of Danehill Dancer bounded right away from O'Brien's 2-1 favourite Lucifer Sam.
Fiona Shaw, European racing manager for owner Earle Mack, said: "I've never seen a two-year-old win a Group Three like that without even a flick of the whip. Ryan was impressed. He has done everything right and is a serious horse. We will have to decide now whether to go for the Dewhurst or the Champagne Stakes."
O'Brien said of the second: "He ran well and I was happy with him but the winner looks a good horse."
